Non-Alcoholic · Gin botanicals · Swedish apples

Made with spent gin botanicals from Stockholms Bränneri: juniper, coriander, rosemary, elderflower, heather.

We save what is a normal production byproduct, spent gin botanicals, then add them to Swedish apple must for round two. We let them sit for multiple days, using a special yeast to delay the onset of the alcoholic fermentation to extract full flavor.

Our story

Brent used to make cider (Seattle Cider, Sly Clyde). Then he became a cider consultant (Brown Hat Consulting). But he missed making cider.

Brent came to Uppsala for a Masters in Entrepreneurship, wrote his thesis on Swedish cider, and got a lot of ideas. One of those ideas was Small Cider, a collaborative cidery.

Working with different partners we make cider our way from Swedish apples—showing consumers that cider can be much, much more than the alcopops sold in Systembolaget.
